Blank Slate Customs is a laser engraving and custom decoration shop in Auburndale, Florida. We make personalized hats, drinkware, patches and promotional items to order — one at a time, by hand, in-house.

The name is the idea: you bring the meaning, we start from a blank slate.

What we actually do

• Laser-engraved leather and acrylic patches — the core of what we make. Applied by hand to Richardson 112s, Yupoong 6606s and FlexFit caps.
• Embroidery — stitched designs for people who want that classic look.
• UV printing — full-colour designs on golf balls, poker chips and patches.
• Engraved drinkware — tumblers, water bottles, mugs and flasks.

K9 handlers

A large share of what leaves this shop goes to police, sheriff, fire and search-and-rescue K9 handlers — hats with their dog's name on the patch. Some are gifts, some are unit orders, some are retirement pieces for a dog that earned one.

We have made a lot of these, and we care about getting the name right.

Custom logo work for businesses

We do runs of logo hats and promotional items for contractors, trades, marine and sportfishing businesses, and local companies. Send us your logo and we will handle the cleanup, send a proof, and produce the run.

How ordering works

1. Pick your product, colour and options, and type in the personalization.
2. Ask for a proof if you want one — we recommend it for logos and unusual spellings.
3. We make it. Production runs 3–5 business days.
4. It ships from Auburndale with tracking.
