How long until I get my order?

Production takes 3–5 business days because everything is made after you order it. Shipping time is on top of that. If you request a proof, add about a day — and note the clock starts when you approve it.

Can I see it before you make it?

Yes. Choose the proof option at checkout and we will email you a mockup. We recommend it on anything with a logo, an unusual spelling, or a deadline attached.

How many characters fit on a patch?

Our name fields cap at the length that actually fits and still reads well — 12 characters for a K9 name, longer for multi-name hats. If you need something longer, email us before ordering and we will tell you whether it works.

Can I put my company logo on a hat?

Yes, that is a good chunk of what we do. Vector files (.svg, .pdf) give the cleanest result. A high-resolution PNG with a transparent background usually works too. We clean up the artwork and send a proof before production.

Do you have a minimum order for logo hats?

No hard minimum. Email blankslatecustomsllc@outlook.com with quantity, product and decoration method and we will quote it.

Can I send a photo of my dog or my family to engrave?

Photographs do not translate well to laser engraving or leather patches — the process works in solid shapes, not shades. Logos, line art and text engrave beautifully. Photos generally do not. If you are unsure, email it to us and we will tell you honestly.

Will the patch colour match the photo exactly?

Close, but not exactly. Leather and acrylic vary from batch to batch, and every patch is made and applied by hand. Slight variation in tone and grain is normal.

Can I return a personalized item?

No. Once it has your name or logo on it we cannot sell it to anyone else, so custom and personalized items are final sale. If we made a mistake, or the item arrives damaged, we will make it right — see Returns & Exchanges.

I need these by a specific date. Can you do it?

Email us before you order with the date. We will tell you straight whether it is doable. We would rather decline than miss your deadline.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not at the moment. We ship within the US.

What hats do you use?

Mostly Richardson 112 trucker caps, along with Yupoong 6606 and Richardson FlexFit styles. They fit well, they last, and the patch sits right on them.
